Shri Anjibapashri Ni Vato - Sermons of Shri Abjibapashri

The teachings of Shriji Maharaj are characterized by simplicity, clarity, and ease of understanding for sincere spiritual seekers. They illuminate the knowledge and grandeur of Shriji Maharaj, fostering a sense of unity with him. The discourses of Lord Shri Sahajanand Swami, also known as Shri Swaminarayan, encapsulated in Vachanamṛts, are revered as our most sacred and profound scriptures.

Conversely, the imparted wisdom of self-realized Anadi Mukta like Bapashri is esteemed as our most sacred and cherished traditions. While the Vachanamṛt's contents are self-evident, Bapashri's sermons require reinforcement from the Vachanamṛt. Bapshri's analogy stating, "My sermons are like a grain, whereas the Vachanamṛt is like a meal," underscores their complementary nature.

In the region of Kutch, venerable individuals are affectionately referred to as 'bapa' (father). Due to Abjibhai's boundless paternal love for all beings, he became known as 'Abjibapashri' or simply 'Bapashri' to everyone.

Abjibapa emphasized the significance of constant contemplation on the divine form. By maintaining unwavering focus on the Murti (sacred image), an individual can evoke Maharaj's grace and experience divine revelations. Abjibapa prescribed gazing at God's Murti until tears of devotion flow, highlighting the intensity and sincerity required in this spiritual practice.

Abjibapa elucidated that during meditation, different aspects of perception align with specific organs and states of consciousness. By attaining unity with the Murti, the individual surpasses all distinctions and limitations imposed by the self, experiencing a profound connection guided by the soul's inherent power.
